**THE ROLE**:
We are seeking a talented Jr. Lab Technician to join our Advanced Technologies Group - a startup branch focused on solving real-world technology challenges and creating new markets for a well-known Semi conductor company.

Looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about joining our engineering team as a technician to help ensure the ATG teams function efficiently to deliver on our commitments.

As a jr. lab technician, you will be focused on the overall efficiency of the lab and provide modification and debugging of boards for camera projects.

**THE PERSON**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Get ahead of equipment and infrastructure demands before they become an issue
- Source vendors’ quotes, follow up with CapEx and OpEx support and track the orders for ATG Lab and Vision labs in Markham Canada
- Manage and track new HW board and parts inventory and assignment
- Assemble and setup for the labs (Boards, equipment, configuring layouts etc)
- Setup camera boards, firmware/driver/software for current and future sensor camera modules and different systems
- Setup Camera calibration and tuning lab specific equipment
- Debug boards issues and Linux and Windows Operating system issues

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:

- At least 5+ years hands-on experience in lab management
- Experience in sourcing equipment and setting up a camera lab
- Experience in setting up host systems to support the camera team
- Experience in performing parts debugging and parts swap
- Experience in managing and tracking boards and parts for the team
- Experience in running SW tests scripts to determine board issues
- Ability to quickly learn new and existing technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and IT (Information Technology) will be an asset
- Experience using a Hydraulic pump truck to move around equipment
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS**:

- Electrical and Electronic Technician diploma or equivalent

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per hour
