OUMA is a bridal boutique in the heart of Vancouver’s mount pleasant that embodies timeless elegance and high-fashion inspired sophistication. OUMA dresses are more than meets the eye — they are specifically tailored by designer and founder, Ou Ma, to bring your wedding dreams to life.

**The Role**:
We are seeking a freelance part-time fabric cutter to join our studio in Vancouver, BC. Reporting directly to the Designer and production manager of OUMA, the cutter will be responsible for cutting our production and sample dresses.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional garment cutting.
- Excellent knowledge and previous experience working on bridal dresses or evening dresses or delicate fabrics including but not limited to: chiffon, lace, and/or tulle.
- Proven efficiency in reading and interpreting patterns and instructions.
- Excellent experience in inspecting fabric flaws and attention to details.
- Proven efficiency in laying patterns/markers to avoid unnecessary waste.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating fabric requirements.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Proven self-starter who enjoys building collaborative partnerships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, always changing environment.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
