**Position Summary**
The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of operational divisions within Team Viking, including pressure vessel cleaning and fluid hauling services. This role will also require project management expertise to ensure successful execution of client projects. The Operations Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the pressure vessel cleaning and fluid hauling divisions.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and safety performance.
- Manage and supervise field personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to projects, equipment, and personnel.
- Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Director of Operations on operational performance.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial services operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong understanding of industrial cleaning processes, equipment, and safety protocols, specifically related to pressure vessels.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, OSHA).
