We have an opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Cashier/Barista at our North York Coffee shop location; the Cafe is in an office building with high traffic, next to the TTC.

Must have positive leadership skills & inspire others with his / her passion about food & customer service and thrive when working in a busy restaurant environment.

This opportunity is for a team member with exceptional organizational skills and confident to prepare beverages/food in front of customers

Full Time: Mon to Fri 8 to 3pm

Other shifts might become available.

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Preparing Specialty Expresso Coffees: lattes, cappuccino, americano, cortado, etc.
- Preparing different Iced Coffees
- Knowledge of Frapes
- Food Handling Certification, preferred.

Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare Brewed coffees
- Maintain and refill Coffee station items.
- Prepare and serve specialty expresso coffees
- Maintains sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and storage areas.
- Assist assembling sandwiches, pre-order or at the moment.
- Great customer service attitude
- Works well independently and in a team setting
- Customer Service effectiveness will require high level of English-speaking skills
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
- Ability to learn quickly

Physical requirements
- Standing for long periods of time
- Pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 40lb at times when required

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
