General Labourer

  • Cleaning and transplanting plants
  • Prepare and pack product for shipping
  • Move/space/sort product as required
  • Assist in all areas of production as needed
  • Maintain a clean/tidy safe environment
  • Follow directions given from all Supervisors/Lead Hands

Working Conditions

  • High physical effort is required (bending, twisting, lifting, walking)
  • Work is normally performed in the greenhouse and retail areas
  • Field work when needed
  • Temperatures can be cool/hot and humid
  • Full weeks with long hours (currently working 8 hours a day, 6 days a week = 48 hours a week)
  • Weekends and holidays required when necessary to meet business/customer requirements

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
