**Description**:
Exciting opportunity to join a growing business building clean water filtration systems that provides clean drinking water for homes across Canada. Our Warehouse Associates are responsible for preparing, assembling, testing, and packing water treatment materials and kits according to the production schedule. They will be cross trained to assist with picking and shipping/receiving orders. They are also responsible for operating forklifts, handling materials.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Safely operate a forklift
- Load and unload materials from the warehouse
- Organize product and material both by hand and with a forklift
- Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Meets daily production schedule as assigned.
- Uses available parts to assemble various water treatment equipment or kits according to operating instructions.
- Operates various workstations to complete assembly of scheduled parts.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
- Safely drives and operates a forklift
- Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
- Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
- Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.
- Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
- Ability to stay organized and order materials around the warehouse
**Education and Experience**
- Bilingual in French and English (preferred).
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
- 1-3 years or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).
- Forklift Certification will be provided.
- 1-3 years or more of forklift experience.
**Computer Skills**
- **Basic**:barcode scanner.
