**We are seeking a compassionate Health Care Aide to join our dedicated long-term care team in a modern facility in Gimli Manitoba.**

**Facility Address**: Gimli, one hour from Winnipeg

**Position Details**: Full-time, part-time, and casual positions available.

**Compensation**:

- $21 per hour
- Time and a half for overtime (1.5x)
- Full mileage reimbursement

**ob Description**:
We are looking for a caring and dedicated Health Care Aide (HCA) to assist with the day-to-day care of residents in our long-term care facility. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about helping others and enhancing the quality of life for seniors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized care plans as directed by RNs or LPNs.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report on residents’ condition.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents.
- Support residents in maintaining independence and dignity in their daily activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide training program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Health Care Aide, preferably in long-term care.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from nursing staff.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to caregiving.
- Commitment to person-centered care and improving the quality of life for seniors.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $21.10 per hour

Additional pay:
