**Highlights of the Role**
- Full-time
- Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm
- Truro or Halifax, Nova Scotia

**Expectations**

Our technology plays a crucial role in various industries, including marine research,

Technician is a skilled and detail-oriented team player with proven experience in electronic

assembly and testing, preferably in a manufacturing environment. The Production Technician

produces electronic products and sensors for the icListen Smart Hydrophone.

Assemble, wire, test, and calibrate electronic products

according to established production procedures.

Work with potting material for the purpose of waterproofing
**Assembly & Testing**

the product.

Conduct thorough testing and quality control to ensure the

functionality and performance of each unit.

Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during the

production process.

**Troubleshooting**

Collaborate with the R&D team to implement improvements

and address recurring problems.

Maintain detailed records of production activities, test

results, and any issues encountered.

**Documentation**

Assist in updating and revising production manuals and

procedures.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D,

**Collaboration **engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless

integration of new features and improvements.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve production

efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.

collaboration with the engineering team.

**Competencies**

Strong technical background in electronics, preferably with

experience in underwater acoustics or related fields.

Technical Proficiency***

Familiarity with PCB assembly, soldering, and other electronic
