Instructional Design/gap Analysis Consultant

Our large medical device client is seeking a skilled Learning & Development Consultant to design a Gap Analysis for Field Sales Reps selling their diabetes related products. The qualified consultant will have knowledge of sales skills and processes, be a strong Instructional Designer, and will have solid experience designing and performing Gap Analysis projects. The project deliverable will be a Gap Analysis Plan.

Upon client and consultant’s mutual interest, this consultant may be asked to perform the Gap Analysis which will involve performing “ride alongs” with some of the Sales Reps in the greater Toronto, ON area.

Consultant must be willing to meet with the client over Zoom or MS Teams to gather additional information and then provide a high-level plan on approach to the Gap Analysis Design Process including estimated hours to complete this work.

**Skills & Experience Requirements**:

- Degree in Instructional Technologies or similar area preferred. Equivalent highly relevant professional experience also acceptable.
- 10+ years’ experience in Instructional Design and deep experience with ADDIE.
- Deep experience in the performance of Needs Assessments and Gap Analysis, including for Sales roles.
- Experience in the medical device industry preferred.

**Project Duration**: TBD but estimated at ~1 months with total hours TBD.

**Hours**: Flexible working hours.

The pay range is $70 to $90 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
