**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install underground utilities, including water mains, sewer lines, and storm drains, according to plans and specifications
- Grade and level trenches using laser or manual instruments to ensure proper pipe slope and alignment
- Lay, align, and connect pipes and fittings using appropriate tools and materials
- Perform pipe testing (air, water, or vacuum) to ensure systems are sealed and functioning properly
- Collaborate with equipment operators and other crew members to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow site safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Perform other construction-related duties as needed to support project completion

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of experience installing underground utilities (water, sewer, storm) preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and pipe grades
- Knowledge of pipe types, trench safety, and compaction requirements
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in outdoor conditions
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Confined Space, Trenching & Excavation) are considered assets
