Water Truck Driver

**The Water Truck Driver**, a member of our landscape installation team, waters newly installed sod, trees and shrubs using handheld hoses and occasional use of truck sprayers, managing a list of locations, and keeps a maintenance log while following a prescribed schedule.
**About the job**:

- Operate and drive light trucks to pick up and deliver water and various landscape products to construction sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle and maintain assigned vehicle.
- Plan delivery travel schedules and routes.
- Water plantings are required and load and unload cargo.
- Record information on pick-ups and deliveries, vehicle mileage and fuel usage and report any incidents or problems encountered.

**About you**:

- Able to perform physically demanding work.
- Able to understand and follow instructions.
- Able to use hand and power tools.
- Knowledgeable about safe work practices and procedures
- Hold a driver’s license required; 3A an asset.
- Have a clean driving record.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions including hot, rainy, cold, and windy.
- Strenuous physical work
- Long shifts (10 hours typically), with occasional weekend shifts required.
