Housekeeping / Laundry Aides

Superior Facility Services is a family owned company providing laundry and housekeeping services to long term care and retirement facilities for over 30 years. We are thrilled to announce that we are a partner with the brand new Stayner Care Centre in Stayner Ontario and are searching for a permanent part time and casual housekeeping aides, floor care aides and laundry aides.

**Currently we are recruiting for seven (7) positions in laundry, housekeeping and floor care. All positions require alternate weekend availability and statutory holiday availability.**

**Must provide Vulnerable Sector Police Check and 2 Step TB Test.**

The positions are scheduled to begin May 1 2025 and there is opportunity for temporary full time hours while we get the facility ready for residents in July 2025. Beginning in July employees will work their regularly scheduled lines/positions. More details will be provided at the interview phase.

**Duties**:
Maintain overall cleanliness and upkeep of all facility including flooring; Follow job routines to maintain overall cleanliness of facility; Launder and deliver facility linens and resident clothing; Sweep, mop and wash floors; Dust furniture; Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture; Clean, disinfect fixtures; Disinfect rooms and other areas; Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; Clean and disinfect elevators; Handle and report lost and found items; Pick up debris and empty trash containers; Follow all Infection Control practices.

Working Conditions:
Must be able to stand for long periods

Must enjoy working with seniors and bring a positive can do attitude to work everyday.

Involves pushing, pulling, bending, lifting and standing and walking for long periods of time.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $18.22-$18.37 per hour
