We are pleased to announce the opening for a permanent full-time Warehouse Associate, Picker/Packer.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Receive pick tickets from supervisor.
- Pick customer orders from warehouse locations for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
- Carry or transport orders to packing station with materials handling equipment. Ensure orders are staged in order of delivery.
- Weigh completed orders and record product weights prior to packaging. Complete various related logs to record data and/or defective parts.
- Package products per Packing SOP. Obtain correct number and type of package according to production schedules or shipping manifests.
- Obtain shipping labels from warehouse computer UPS and affix labels to packages prior to shipment. Ensure packaging meets industrial safety labeling requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping of assigned areas.
- Place shipping label on boxes for UPS.
- Use computer software packages to review, pick, and print information for shipping. Pick product by use of labels and confirm transactions.
- Prepare shipping documentation and records for shipping. Attach identifying labels or tags to materials or mark information on cases or packages. Check all items to be shipped for conformance to client specification. Record outgoing shipments.
- Maintain the work area and physical plant in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
- Comply with the organization’s environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Accuracy with strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to prioritize and coordinate tasks in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment
- Basic computer skills with DSI and JDE experience an asset

**EDUCATION**:

- High School Graduate or equivalent

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 1 year of previous warehouse experience preferred

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Ability to stand for the length of the shift as well as extensive lifting, standing, bending and carrying parcels within a loading dock setting.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
