Our **Mercedes-Benz Markham**, luxury dealership, is looking for a **Sales Assistant**to join our amazing team

**Job Purpose**

The Sales Assistant is the front-line representative for the dealership. S/he welcomes customers as they enter the dealership, answers basic inquiries, refers them to the appropriate individual or department and also perform all licensing duties for sales. This position also provides assistance to the Sales Manager in the coordination of all vehicles for the Sales Department.

**Core Accountabilities**- Greet customers in a professional manner.
- Introduce customers to the appropriate Sales Consultant.
- Answer basic customer inquiries and refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate individual.
- Responsible for facilitating efficient order fulfillment, and contributing to a safe and orderly working environment.
- Accuracy of all paperwork produced.
- Follow all customer requirements.
- Assist supervision/management as needed.
- Filing.
- Follow company policies, guidelines and work instructions.
- Maintain professional relationship with customers.
- Perform all licensing of new and used vehicles including demos and wholesale transactions.
- Coordinate the pickup and drop off with license office.
- Communicate costs of licensing on each transaction to the sales staff including the business managers and accounting.

**Requirements**:
- Excellent communication skills and customer service. Including written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
- Must have an enthusiastic personality.
- Professional appearance & friendly disposition.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
