**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide a safe and clean environment for children, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, feeding, diapering, and nap times.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Implement educational activities that support early childhood education principles.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a cohesive childcare experience.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents that occur.
- Adapt activities to meet the needs of children with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with children by demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in childcare or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Time management abilities to ensure timely completion of daily activities.
- Leadership qualities to guide children in group settings.
- Familiarity with computer operation for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an advantage.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $24.86-$24.90 per hour
