We specialize in multi-unit condos, tenant improvements and small to medium commercial fit outs. We offer installation and maintenance for new and or existing commercial or industrial building projects.

**Overview**

**Position Accountabilities**
- **Project Oversight**: Supervise and coordinate sheet metal installation teams on Commercial HVAC projects.
- **Installation & Fabrication**: Lead and participate in the layout, fabrication, and installation of ductwork and related sheet metal components.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards, project specifications, and client expectations.
- **Team Leadership**: Mentor, train, and guide junior team members; foster a positive, safety-conscious, and productive work environment.
- **Scheduling & Coordination**: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other trades to develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring that deliverables are met efficiently.
- **Communication**: Act as the point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding project progress, issues, and changes.
- **Safety Compliance**: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and site requirements.

**Required Experience**
- **Experience**: At least **5+ years of experience** in ducting, sheet metal installation, or a related field, ideally in a foreman or lead position.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and architectural drawings; familiarity with various sheet metal fabrication tools and HVAC equipment.
- **Leadership Skills**: Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams; strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- **Attention to Detail**: A keen eye for identifying potential issues or deviations, ensuring precision in fabrication and installation.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, project managers, and trades.
- **Work Ethic**: Strong organizational skills and commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- **Licenses/Certifications**: Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, HVAC-related, or sheet metal apprenticeship completion) preferred

Please note, this position will be required to travel to various locations between Victoria and Mid-Vancouver Island.

Pay: $42.00-$50.00 per hour
