Hearthstone by the Bay is an upscale retirement condominium located on the shores of Lake Ontario. We are seeking a Concierge/Security Guard with a passion for seniors and excellent at customer service. You must also have your security guard license and current CPR certificate.
The shift is two evenings per week 4:00 p.m. to midnight, sometimes you may be asked to work the weekend evening shift.
The Concierge is responsible for monitoring and managing all access points, our emergency response and security plans and equipment, and ensure a safe and secure environment for the community at large.
The Concierge will establish and maintain excellent customer service, respond to inquiries, greet, receive, screen, document, all residents, guests, and visitors in a pleasant, courteous, and helpful manner.
The Concierge are responsible for receiving and redirecting external & internal calls and providing general information and assistance as required. They will patrol the building at set times and report as required.
This is an ideal position for students, those looking for a few extra shifts or those newly retired.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week
**Salary**: From $16.65 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to provide proof of double vaccination as we work with vulnerable senior population. Bi-weekly rapid antigen testing may also be required.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Etobicoke, ON M8V 3Z5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Concierge: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Security License (required)
