Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Monitor patients receiving Medical and Dental Care
Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patient conditions
Assess patients to identify appropriate interventions
Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
Operate or monitor Medical and Dental apparatus or equipment such as sterilization equipment to ensure safety of patients
Process Medical and Dental instruments and patient care items through the sterilization process safely and efficiently
Turn over operatories, transporting used instruments to the sterilization area for processing
Set up treatment rooms for the next patient procedure
Provide Customer service support to patients by escorting them to and from the treatment room as needed
Help Medical and Dental Doctors and Assistants with front desk staff when necessary
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $36.00 per hour
Language Requirement:
- English required
Schedule: Full Time; Permanent
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB T5X 5X8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Sterilization Technician: 6-9 month Sterile Processing at College level (required)
2-3 years of Nursing Program and at least 6 Months experience
