The **_Procurement Specialist_** is responsible for _ensuring that deliveries are timely and meet the company's quality standards, thereby supporting the organization's overall success and strategic objectives._
This position reports to the Head of Operations and will be a part of the _Procurement Team_ located at _4560 Tillicum Street, Burnaby, BC, Canada. This is _an on-site role.
**What you will do**:
- _ Review MRP daily to create and manage purchase orders in alignment with manufacturing production schedules and customer demand_
- _ Ensure purchase orders are processed accurately and on time, with necessary follow-ups on order deliveries_
- _ Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value_
- _ Maintain and update supplier records, including part pricing and key contacts; ensuring accuracy and accessibility_
- _ Facilitate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on product non-conformities and ensure timely resolution to minimize schedule disruptions due to quality concerns_
**Who you are**:
- _ Bachelor_’s degree in_ business, _Supply Chain Management,_ or combination of equivalent education and experience_
- _ 3_+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Industry with _3_+ years in Procurement_
- _ Proficiency in_ ERP systems _and Microsoft Excel skills_
- _ Must be able to work within tight timelines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency of assigned tasks_
- _ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise at all levels_
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
- _ Understands BOM structures and ensuring procurement aligns with engineering specifications and requirements_
- _ Ability to read technical drawings_
- _ Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI)_

The salary range _$63,000 - $70,000 CAD._ This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
