**Job Summary**

**Duties**:

- Operate and maintain a commercial vehicle for the transportation of goods.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Manage freight loading and unloading, utilizing forklift and heavy equipment operation as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any maintenance performed on the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions with clients.
- Troubleshoot minor automotive repairs as needed to keep the vehicle in optimal condition.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight operations.
- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
- Must pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
