**Job Overview**
We are seeking a 1-2 servers who have their SmartServe certification to provide butler service and basic bartending for an outdoor company BBQ and pool party. The event is on July 19, 2025 starting at 1:30 pm, with a rain date of July 20. Over 40 guests are expected.

**Duties**
- Serving appetizers 2-6 pm
- Taking orders and refilling drinks including wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and making simple mixed drinks for guests.
- Helping to set up and lay out a buffet-style bbq dinner, packing up leftover food after.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and kitchen area, including washing serveware, glassware and utensils.
- Clearing used plates and cups
- Restocking utensils, plates, napkins, ice and pop, toilet paper in the outside washroom and powder room inside, taking out garbage as needed

**Qualifications**
- Must have SmartServe
- Must be available July 19-20, 2025.
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.

**Hours**: Start 1:30 pm to approx. 7- 8 pm. $20/hour.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 8 per week
