Scale Operator/quality Control Technician

**Description**

The responsibility of the **Scale Operator/Quality Control Technician** is to generate scale tickets for inventory management and to preform sieve analysis on gravel products being produced on site in addition to general administration duties in the office.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor and weigh incoming and outgoing trucks
- Communicate with on-site crew and advise of products hauled on and off site.
- Maintain security by following weight procedures, confirming customers are not exceeded the overweight restrictions
- Provide daily inspection reports, weather reports, activities report, hauling report
- Preform QA/QC on aggregate products and report findings to Supervisor
- Training for QA/QC will be provided, no previous experience required
- General office administration including electronic and paper-based storage /filing
- Report directly to the Operations Manager

**Qualifications**
- A self-starter, motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication both verbally and written skills in oral and written English
- Strong ability to follow oral and written instructions properly
- Excellent time management
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional computer skills and competency
- Understand emergency and operating procedures
- Knowledge of precautions necessary to ensuring a safe work environment with customers and employees
- Safety experience would be an asset but not mandatory
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills including but not limited to Excel and Word

**Ability to commute**
- Position is based out of Camrose, AB and will require travel to sites (Central Alberta) as needed

**Salary**: $21.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
