**Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding.
- Assist with animal handling during examinations and treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff.
- Support veterinary procedures by preparing equipment and supplies as needed.
- Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain safety standards.
- Assist in laboratory tasks such as sample collection and processing.
- Engage in dog training sessions as required, promoting positive behavior reinforcement.
- Maintain accurate records of animal care activities and treatments administered.

**Requirements**:

- Previous kennel experience or equivalent animal handling experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and husbandry practices.
- Experience in veterinary critical care or as a veterinary technician is a plus.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures related to animal care is beneficial.
- Ability to perform animal catheterization and restraint techniques safely.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and pet owners.
- A passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing high-quality care.
