Corporate Cook

**Position: Corporate Cook**

This is a full time, on-site position at a modern tech company in Kanata. The ability to commute to work is essential.

**Schedule**: Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday, between 40 to 44 hours per week from 6am - 3pm.

This role requires a strong understanding of culinary techniques, food presentation, and kitchen operations. In this role you will collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver high-quality dishes in a fast-paced modern tech environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to menu planning, development, put forward creative ideas for dishes.
- Assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and a seamless workflow.
- Handle food storage, preparation, and waste management according to guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a culinary role in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent cooking skills and attention to detail in food presentation.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
