As an integral member of the Finance Department, the Treasury Analyst will assist with monitoring day to day cash needs as well as a wide range of banking, investment, debt and general accounting functions to ensure the organization has appropriate cash flows to support operations, as well as assist with Shared Services as needed.
The Financial Analyst reports to the Treasury Manager.
**Duties and Responsibilites**
Cash Management responsibilities as follows:
- Daily management of multiple accounts and consolidation and reporting of cash position
- Management of over 30 user profiles and online account maintenance
- Credit card program administration including monitoring user access, program spending and credit limits
- Online and terminal merchant account management and maintenance
- Assist with execution of necessary documentation to communicate requirements to bank or other institutions
Assist with input of short term and long term bank cash flow to optimize liquidity while maximizing the return on excess cash. Provide analysis of changes in daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts
Participate on special projects requiring working capital, financing or investment, including, but not limited to:
- Assessment of impact of transactions on working capital, cash and debt covenants
- Preparation of financial analysis to evaluate the financial risks and options
- Report monthly Treasury Scorecard capturing bank cash balances, anti-fraudulent activities, compliance reporting, investment summary
- Maintenance and process improvements in various AR / AP sub systems
**Key Relationships**
Finance: Controllership teams in Home Care and Rx, Operational finance and CFO
Business: Legal, IT, Operations
External: Banks
Job Qualification
**Education and Experience**
- A university degree in business (or related discipline) from a recognized and accredited educational institution
- Recognized or working towards a professional designation.
- ERP experience with NAV and PeopleSoft desirable.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
**Technical Skills**:
- A minimum of one year relevant Treasury experience in a large complex organization
- Strong business acumen with solid experience in business management, operations, and financial planning, and performance measurement
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial issues to a broad and diverse audience
- Ability to work and thrive in a changing environment while experiencing financial constraints
- Capacity to build partnerships, work collaboratively and effectively communicate to diverse groups both within and external
- Recognized as ethical and independent, demonstrating high standards of professionalism and respect for confidentiality
