We are looking to add a part time Optometric Assistant to our team As an Optometric Assistant at our office you duties will include answering phones, scheduling appointments, submitting insurance claims, pretesting patients prior to their appointment with the Doctor, as well as fitting and dispensing glasses.

Optometric experience would be an asset, customer service experience required. You must also be able to learn a new user friendly computer program. We offer on the job training, but bing able to prioritize tasks and preform effeciently when busy can not be taught. We work 9-9.5 hours per days and expect to need 2-3 days per week. Shifts can run until 7 pm as well as some Saturdays until 4 pm.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18-20 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers and staff are required to wear masks. Vaccinations are also required as we work closely with patients who are elderly and immunocompromised. We also disinfect surfaces between patients.
