**Job title: Equipment Operator**

**Work Schedule: 14 days on and 14 days off - 12 hours shift daily**

**Location: Gogama, ON (Côté Gold Site)**

**Job Overview**:
The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating the equipment (i.e., grader, excavator, skid steer, loader, etc.), performing manual skilled labour when required, and providing support to the Site Services Crew and the Site Services Coordinator.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Service work, renovations, new construction, and performing ongoing maintenance.
- Snow removal and road maintenance.
- Operate the grader and other equipment (i.e., excavator, skid steer, dozer, loader) in the company’s equipment fleet.
- Skilled manual labour in construction, renovations, or concrete work.
- Clean and prepare worksite.
- Operate various hand and power tools to complete projects.
- Fuel machinery and dewater site.
- Handle materials.
- Assist carpenters, welders, painters, or other tradespeople on site.
- Perform additional tasks as required.

**Education/Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience preferred.
- A valid ticket to operate a grader and other equipment is an asset.
- Valid surface miner common core and completion of specialty modules for equipment is an asset (if hired, this would be required to obtain).
- Experience and valid tickets for operating machinery (i.e., power tools) is an asset.
- G Class Driver’s license with a clean driving record (abstract required if hired).
- Must be conversant with OHSA regulations and comply with the site safety plan and rules.

- 12 hour shift
