Omnitrans is looking for a Customs Brokerage Specialist to join the Customs Brokerage Team.
As the official point of contact with specific assigned clients, to coordinate all activities related to Customs clearance of shipments entering Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all documents required to release goods have been received;
- Review the content of these documents to ensure completeness of shipment (i.e., confirm piece count, weight, etc.), perform initial compliance review;
- Coordinate all aspects of required document flow;
- Contact clients to obtain missing information;
- Establish the priority on shipments to be processed;
- Communicate with warehouses and freight forwarding companies to inquire about shipments status and to resolve related problems;
- Communicate with CBSA to resolve any release issues or inquire about the status of entry;
- Communicate with internal departments (accounting, technical, logistics, etc.) to coordinate shipment or client-specific needs;
- Manage Client requests and ensure all service needs are met;
- Validate and ensure completeness of Client release base on specific profile instructions;
- Perform other general clerical duties.

What you bring:

- Completion of High School.
- More than 3 years of experience: customer service industry, strong communication, etc.
- Knowledge on CBSA regulations, importation documents and transport.
- Ability to multitask, organize, lead, motivate, and teach.
- Ability to negotiate and build strong trade relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to identify root causes and find win/win solutions.
- Bilingual - French and English.
