Vancouver, Canada Opus Hotel Full time

We are seeking an Executive Housekeeper to join the team at OPUS Vancouver. This position will support the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Manage and coordinate a team of Room Attendants and House Person's.
- Be a hands-on leader to support housekeeping team in their duties to ensure all guest rooms and common areas meet our brand standards.
- Have a positive attitude, maintain enthusiasm, and celebrate success within a dynamic department.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms, preparing purchase requisitions when required.
- Supervise staff and establish and implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department.
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met.
- Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff.
- Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are met.
- Respond and resolve guest complaints.
- Perform basic Human Resources duties.
- Liaise with maintenance team on a regular basis to ensure upkeep of the property is maintained as well as housekeeping equipment.
- Work with the Front Office team to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Train, supervise, motivate, and coach supervisors and attendants, in addition to maintaining daily operations and expectations with consistency and fairness.
- Manage monthly and quarterly department expenses to ensure they stay in-line with budget.

**Required Experience**:

- High-school graduation certificate.
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a housekeeping department in an upscale hotel.
- Individual must be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time and able to handle weight up to 30lbs.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
