Boutique brokerage serving Hamilton and surrounding communities since 1958 has a position available for RIBO licensed Personal Lines Customer Service & Sales Representative.

Reporting to the Office Manager, you will be responsible for personal lines production as well as the day to day servicing of existing accounts: remarketing renewals and cancellations ensuring standard renewal retention is maintained, endorsement processing and invoicing, and claims management and reporting.

This role will focus on growing the personal lines book of business requiring qualification of prospects, new business quoting and binding, and following up on all quotes provided in accordance with well established internal quality standards. The goal of this role is to identify, quote, and bind the target client profile that Lakeside is seeking.

We will consider unlicensed (RIBO) applicants that are a recent graduate of the Insurance Program; or currently working within the Industry; wanting to obtain RIBO license within 6 months from date of hire. A RIBO license is required for continued employment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- RIBO Licence or working towards
- Post Secondary Diploma.

PREFERED
- 2 Year Insurance Program graduate an asset
- 3+ years Personal Lines experience in property and casualty insurance sales and service and/or underwriting
- The Agency Manager (TAM), Company Portals, Rating Services experience
- Some working knowledge of commercial lines products
- CAIB and/or CIP designations or working towards

- Ability to meet target sales goals and objectives while maintaining and adhering to internal underwriting guidelines and procedures
- Self motivated with an ability to assume accountability and work independently
- Professional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent organizational and effective time management skills
