**Summary**:
The Low Voltage Product Lead will set market and technology strategy and direction for our Low Voltage PowerVue MCC and Switchgear products. You will own and steward a comprehensive Low Voltage product roadmap covering the full life cycle of your product lines. With experience in Industrial Power Distribution, you will actively research and analyze market requirements, feedback from customers, sales, and engineering to drive technology direction, industry alignment and business growth.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
As our primary point of contact for all stakeholders, you will communicate product plans, progress & results, and drive, support and refine key focus areas including:
- Market Research & Customer Value Alignment
- Managing Financial Models, Budgeting and Business Metrics
- Technology & Supplier Relationship Management
- Design Vision, Feature Prioritization, Lifecycle Roadmap Planning
- Internal and External Sales Support as Product SME
- Development and Delivery of Training for Spartan and Channel Partners
- Product Documentation, Service and Support Plans
- Customer Feedback and Product Improvement
- Marketing Content and Product Messaging
Working as a key member of a dynamic and growing Power & Drives team you will help deliver successful outcomes for customers and achieve Spartan business growth targets.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Technologist or P. Eng credentials with Electrical preferred
- 5+ years of progressive industry experience. Technical and customer facing experience are an asset
- Direct experience working with LV/MV Electrical Power Distribution equipment; Motor Control Centers, starters, breakers, protection relays, power transfer controls etc.
- In-depth practical knowledge of CEC, NEC, NFPA70, UL347, IEEE C37.20.2, IEEE C37.20.7 and other relevant industry standards is valued
- Experience in industrial product marketing & development, product management, or similar role is an asset
- Knowledge and experience with Variable Frequency Drives and Industrial Motors is preferred.
- Strategic and conceptual thinker with a practical “get it done” approach
- Demonstrated ability to set goals and organize resources, meet deadlines and to adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and support others through a positive and encouraging approach
- Strong ‘Customer First’ focus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
