À titre de Spécialiste de produits, vous aurez la responsabilité de connaître tous les détails de vos produits. Vous devrez identifier les forces et les faiblesses de ceux-ci par rapport aux solutions concurrentes et travailler en étroite collaboration avec les groupes de Gestion de produits et d'Ingénierie pour proposer des améliorations qui rendront vos produits plus attrayants sur le marché.

**Responsabilités**:

- _Support_: Vous serez responsable de fournir du support à certains clients-clés. En collaboration avec le groupe de Soutien technique, vous devrez comprendre les problèmes rapportés, travailler avec le groupe d’ingénierie afin de les résoudre et suggérer des optimisations de flux de travail.
- _Analyse compétitive_ : Par l’entremise de vos recherches sur le marché et de tests, vous devrez comprendre comment votre produit se compare à ceux de nos concurrents et identifier les différenciateurs commercialisables.

**Qualifications**:

- Diplôme collégial en informatique ou dans un domaine connexe;
- 5 années d’expérience pertinente;
- Bonne connaissance des plates-formes PC, Linux et Mac;
- Fortes habileté interpersonnelles;
- Excellentes capacités de communication, verbale et écrite;
- Motivé, autonome et capacité de travailler en équipe;
- Détenir un passeport et être en mesure de voyager internationalement est une exigence.
- Expérience avec de l’équipement vidéo professionnel;
- Connaissances des produits vidéos Matrox.

**Position Summary**

As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for knowing all the details about your products. You will be required to identify your products’ strengths and weaknesses, when measured against competitive solutions, and work closely with both the Product management and engineering groups to propose possible enhancements which will make your products more attractive to the market.

**Responsibilities**:

- _Support:_ You will be responsible for providing support to certain key accounts. In collaboration with the Technical support team, you will need to understand the issues they are experiencing, report relevant issues to the Matrox engineering team and suggest workflow optimizations.
- _Competitive analysis of your products: _Through research and testing, you will analyze how your products compare to those of our competitors and identify marketable differentiators.

**Qualifications**
- Collegial degree (DEC) in computer science or in related fields;
- 5 years of relevant experience;
- Good knowledge of both PC, Linux and Mac platforms;
- Outgoing personality;
- Committed, hard working, and a team player;
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken;
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally required.
- Experience with professional video equipment;
- Knowledge of Matrox Video products.
