QualNet is a Canadian company dedicated to the installation and maintenance of wireless network infrastructure and the construction of associated structures.
Under the foreman's supervision, the tower rigger is responsible for the installation of telecommunication equipment and structures for cellular networks. Work is done on roof tops and various types of towers with an average height of 150ft to 400ft.
The Tower Rigger is responsible for:
- Installation of cellular antennas, radios, mounts, and transmission lines
- Installation of connectors and other equipment such as grounding systems, ice guards, lighting systems, etc.
- Assemble various type of specialized equipment
- Align and orient antennas per specifications
- Prepare and assure that all material and equipment are at site
- Ensure that company’s equipment are safely and properly used and maintained
The Tower Rigger travels regularly, mostly on a weekly basis from Monday to Friday. **Overtime hours are paid in time and a half, per-diem and other benefits offered.**
**Valid driver's license**
The company provides all the necessary training, but the following would be an asset: Working at Heights, Tower Rescue, First Aid, ASP card & RF awareness.
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
