Job Profile

Reporting to the Production Manager /or Plant Maintenance Supervisor, the Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for all planned and unplanned maintenance functions on Prairie Machine production equipment. Production equipment includes CNC/Manual - Horizontal Boring mills, Vertical Mills, Lathes, Screw Compressors, and other Shop equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Complete all maintenance service requests as assigned
- Assess, recommend, and perform repairs on equipment including mechanical, electrical and hydraulics
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
- Perform equipment maintenance tasks
- Maintain comprehensive maintenance records
- Coordinate and assist work being performed by outside contractors
- Submit maintenance purchase Req’s

Qualifications:

- Strong mechanical / electrical and hydraulic aptitude
- 1-3 years in a maintenance position
- 1-5 years in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP system
