**Job Description**:
As a Project Controls Specialist II, you would be responsible for leading as well as hands-on project controls efforts related to job-hour & cost control monitoring, schedule updating/ monitoring, analysis and reporting for project cost engineering.

**In this full-time permanent role, you will be a champion of **diversity & inclusion.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for performing project cost engineering duties for assigned program
- Supports formation and implementation of Project Controls Plan for assigned project/ program
- Collects and maintains job-hour/cost data using various systems
- Maintains cost and resource databases and implements requirements for recording and reporting
- Implements and monitors engineering progress & performance systems
- Supports formation and implementation of the project change management system (trend program)
- Maintains cost budgets and accurate cost forecasts and prepares job-hour/ cost related reports, as required
- Performs ongoing cash flow analysis
- Supports schedule update and monitoring
- Assists in preparing cost data for proposals and contract negotiations
- Assists with project financial reporting per Bantrel and/or client requirements
- Gathers historical project data for close-out reporting and supports preparation of the Project Historical Report

**Qualifications**:

- Engineering or Business degree, or technical diploma
- 8-10 years of relevant project controls experience
- Good understanding of cost engineering and planning/ scheduling concepts
- Demonstrable continuing self-development relative to Project Controls Management of major capital expenditure projects in mining and infrastructure and/or energy and petrochemical processing industries
- An aptitude for numerical data analysis and fluency in MS Office 365 suite
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Power Queries
- Project progress & performance systems proficiency in Hexagon EcoSys or equivalent would be advantageous
- Basic level of proficiency in Primavera P6
- Must possess good interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
- Right to work and remain in the country of assignment
