**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all guests are greeted warmly as they enter the property, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor patrons throughout the venue, keeping track of capacity levels.
- Identify and safely escort individuals who are causing disturbances or are visibly intoxicated off the premises.
- Keep a vigilant eye on the floor to anticipate the needs of guests and fellow team members, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, providing support as needed during busy or challenging times.
- Respond quickly and calmly to any emergencies or security concerns, maintaining order and safety.
- Handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact, ensuring the safety and security of all guests and staff.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Alberta Security License (Pro-tect)
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification is an asset.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks, including the removal of disruptive individuals.
- Proven experience in security roles, particularly in high-energy environments such as bars or nightclubs.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and react quickly and effectively to various situations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, team members, and law enforcement if necessary.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

**Compensation**:

- $20/hour base pay.
- Opportunities for additional compensation based on performance and responsibilities, plus house tip.

**Terms & Expectations**:

- After-hours correspondence may be required to ensure the security needs of the venue are met.
- This position requires availability on weekends and holidays, including late-night shifts that will go till 2:30-3:00am.
