**IT Support Technician**

**Salary**:$22.00 - $30.00 per hour**

**Your Tasks**:
Cross-functional responsibilities:

- User account administration for Windows and other systems using ServiceNow ticketing tool
- Tier 1 / 2 user help desk and administration with emphasis on IP Telephony support
- Analyzing, comparing, and proposing technical IT and telecom products with emphasis on IP Telephony products and peripherals by considering any guidelines and restrictions

Professional responsibilities:

- Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, software and operating system software with an emphasis on IP Telephony and its associated hardware, software and data upkeep
- Operate consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to co
- Implement and support data, software and hardware security procedures with an emphasis on IP Telephony deployment and management
- Perform routine network and systems start up and shut down and maintain control records
- Plan, install and diagnose internal IT cabling, infrastructure, administration and maintenance, including A/V infrastructure for boardrooms and related software and hardware systems
- Administration, diagnostic and maintenance of IP Telephony related networking equipment, network router, switches, modems, and communication lines

**Our Requirements**:

- Completion of College, or similar program (e.g. Co-operation program), in a IT related area and 1-2 years experience in a Windows Active Directory and Citrix environment
- Or equivalent education (e.g. Microsoft Certified Professional
- or similar courses) and 3-4 years experience in a Windows Active Directory environment
- Preferable A+ and Network+ Certification
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11
- Expert knowledge of MS Office 2016 / Office 365
- Expert knowledge Windows 2016 / 2022 Server and Active Directory
- Expert knowledge in Citrix environments
- Advanced knowledge of Thin Client Management, Avanti DSM, Siemens/Unify Xpressions / IP telephony systems
- ** Ability to obtain a Controller Goods Security Clearance**
