Queen Margaret's School is looking for qualified Bus Driver on a part time basis ( approx. 20 hours per week). This is a wonderful opportunity to join a small friendly team with excellent benefits. This part time position is eligible for the School's benefits program, including paid sick time and matching RRSP. Meals are also included as a taxable benefit. Support is also available for the right applicant who wishes to upgrade their driving License from Grade 4 to Grade 2

**Qualifications**:

- The following are requirements for this position:_
- Must hold a current BC Class 2 or Class 4 Driver's License
- Must have at least two years of driving experience
- Level 1 First Aid certification or equivalent
- Experience driving children
- Working Conditions:_
- Day, evening, weekend, and possible overnight shifts
- Some heavy lifting (i.e., suitcases) and carrying may be required

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely drive students to and from school, following a prescribed route
- Perform vehicle circle check safety inspections, documenting & reporting according to school and government regulations
- Comply with all school and government regulations, laws and policies
- Communicate clearly and interact with parents, school staff, passengers, co-workers and the general public in a courteous, professional manner as required
- Be punctual and reliable
- Be in good physical condition (lifting and carrying involved in the duties)
- Possess a positive attitude and work as a team player
- Be able to work with minimum supervision
- Be willing to attend and practice safety-related training provided by the School
- All applicants for this position will be expected to agree to have a Criminal Record Check initiated by Queen Margaret's School.
