REPORTS TO: VP & Head of Global Capital Markets

DEPARTMENT: Portfolio Operations

COMPANY: CI Global Asset Management

JOB OVERVIEW

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Portfolio implementation, executing and monitoring portfolios, P&L and risk
- Automation, optimization and re-engineering of desk processes and tools to increase efficiency
- Facilitating day-to-day activities on the desk
- Ad-hoc projects

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with equity, credit and/or fixed income products
- Quantitative undergraduate degree (i.e. Math, Engineering, Computer Science)
- Excellent academic performance while balancing extracurricular activities
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a high performing culture, under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines
- Proven ability to work independently as well as to perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated interest in investment management and trading
- Strong financial modeling knowledge, mathematical background and analytical thinking
- Advanced computer and programming skills
