Carpenter

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, floors, and doorframes.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Perform construction estimating to assess material needs and project costs.
- Execute concrete forming for various construction projects.
- Ensure all installations are plumb and level according to specifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople including electricians for integrated project execution.
- Provide maintenance person services as needed for repairs or adjustments.
- Install flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, or tile laying.
- Assemble furniture or fixtures as required for specific projects.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary during the construction process.

**Skills**
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to carpentry work.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques.
- Experience with concrete forming processes.
- Ability to ensure structures are plumb and level during installation.
- Basic electrical skills are a plus for integrated projects.
- Versatile maintenance person skills for general repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Expertise in flooring installation methods including tile laying.
- Strong assembly skills for constructing furniture or fixtures from plans.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
