Night Auditor

**Location**: Victoria Airport Days Inn (Sidney)

**Shifts**: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

**Job Type**: Permanent, Part-time

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Night Auditor to join our team at the Victoria Airport Days Inn. This role is crucial in ensuring our guests have a seamless and pleasant experience during the night shift. If you are friendly, a good problem solver, and focused on guest service, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct the nightly audit process, reviewing all financial transactions.
- Operate the telephone, process wake-up call requests, and make reservations.
- Welcome guests and efficiently handle check-ins and check-outs.
- Address guest inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner during all interactions.
- Complete end-of-day activities, including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backups, and rolling the date.
- Perform data entry tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve guest issues.
- Prepare daily reports for management.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and presentable front desk area.
- Ensure hotel security during the shift.
- Balance cash drawers and handle cash transactions.

- Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities.
- Strong computer skills; experience with Opera is preferred.
- Upbeat and friendly attitude.
- Comfortable handling both cash and credit card transactions.

**Training**: Training shifts will include a mixture of morning shifts (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) and night audit shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on different days than the required working days.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.50 per hour
