Mishmish is a third-culture Middle Eastern Bakery & Cafe dedicated to serving food and drink inspired by the tastes, techniques, and traditions that have been with our families for generations and the celebration of the adaptations that have come from who and where we are now.

We proudly make everything in-house and always strive for the highest standards in everything we do. The Line/Prep Cooks will be responsible for prepping all menu ingredients and working on the line during service with their team members.

**Role Responsibilities**
- _**Uphold standards**_ _for quality, cleanliness, daily equipment maintenance, organization, and safety in all areas of the kitchen._
- _**Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities**_ _with the ability to stay calm under pressure_
- _**Time management skills**_ _and the ability to work on their own or as part of a team_
- _**Communicate clearly**_ _with management and the rest of the team. _
- _**Ability to follow instructions and training**_ _based on guides and training materials._

**Qualifications**
- _**1+ years minimum experience**_ _working in a high-production restaurant or cafe_
- _**Excellent communication and interpersonal skills**_
- _**Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining quality and consistency**_ _without compromise_
- _**Ability to work efficiently and cleanly**_
- _**Punctuality and ability to work early mornings**_, if needed_

**Additional Details**
- _**Tips**_ - _Approx $4-$5/hour_
- _**Discounts**_ _- Free meal & drink on shift and discounts when off shift._

**Availability**
- _**Hours**_- 32 Hours/week
- _**Days**_- Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
- _**Shift Length**_ - 10 am - 6 pm shifts

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
