Family Day Care Educator

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate children
- Create and maintain a structured classroom setting
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all children in your care
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children in a caregiving capacity (Unless applicant is in Early Childhood studies)
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and understanding towards children's needs
- Ability to work well in a team setting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saint-Laurent, QC H4L 3L5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Secondary School (preferred)
