**1‑Full Time‑ Child Youth Worker**

**Child‑Adolescent Mental Health Unit**

Reporting to the Manager of Child and Adolescent Mental Health, the Child and Youth Worker will participate as a

member of the interprofessional team. They will provide assessment, intervention and treatment for youth with

severe emotional behavioural difficulties and complex unstable mental health disorders.

Qualifications:

- Diploma from a recognized Child and Youth Care Program, or equivalent
- 3‑5 years experience in residential services working with complex mental health (preferred)
- Ability to work as a member of a interprofessional team
- Able to implement a variety of treatment strategies and behavior management techniques
- Crisis intervention training
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to establish therapeutic relationship and facilitate a safe, structured and supportive milieu
- Excellent documentation/written skills

Salary Range: $34.830 to 39.500
