Westerner park is currently seeking a Catering and Banquet Server with daytime availability to join our team on a casual basis. As a Catering and Banquet Server, you’ll be doing the following:

- Execute catering and banquet event orders as specified by clients or management.
- Build client loyalty through outstanding service and attending meetings.
- Refresh rooms during breaks without interfering with presentations.
- Replace dirty dishware, replenish supplies, and tidy rooms.
- Assist with the set-up, maintenance, and tear down of function rooms.
- Maintain inventory, cleanliness, and neatness of function and storage areas.
- Maintain post event notes and tracking documents as needed
- Communicate inventory status and needs with the team.
- Perform general cleaning and complete assigned cleaning projects timely.
- Set up facilities for events, including dishware, glassware, and linens.
- Serve food and beverages timely, knowing menu details and preparation methods.
- Clear tables properly throughout the dining experience and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Here is what you bring:

- Previous experience in a hotel or catering environment is required
- Proserve certification, or willing and able to obtain within 3 months of hire is required
- Knowledge of catering and banquet setups
- Great interpersonal skills is an asset
- Able to follow direction and work with mínimal supervision
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Must have a valid class 5 drivers license and a minimum of 3 years driving experience
