**Job description**

We are currently searching for a part-time or full-time (dependent on availability) Sale Associate/Cashier.

**Must have cashier experience**

Shell on Keil is a fast-growing community-oriented independent fuel distribution company based in Chatham. We provide the highest level of service while fulfilling our customer’s gas, diesel, and convenience item needs. We are presently seeking friendly, enthusiastic and hard-working individuals who take pride in providing top notch customer service to join our team.

**The duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following**:

- Provide courteous and efficient service throughout the customer’s experience
- Greet customers with a smile, having a friendly attitude offering prompt service.
- Accurately operate POS cash register to manage cash, credit, and debit card transactions for sold items.
- Sweep, mop, dust, remove trash inside and outside, cleaned and disinfect restroom.
- Count money in cash drawer at the ending of shift to ensure that amounts were correct and there was adequate change.
- Adhere to all city, state and federal tobacco, lottery and other regulations.
- Executed inventory and stocking of goods and merchandise inside the store.
- Maintained an awareness of all promotions and advertisements
- Answer customer questions, provide information and resolve customer concerns
- Communicated customer requests to management.
- Ensured that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment

- Possess excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Be self-motivated, punctual and reliable
- Work well in both an independent and team environment
- Maintain an overall friendly and professional manner
- Able to stay alert and focused at all times.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- sales: 2 years (preferred)
- customer service: 2 years (preferred)
