**About the role**:
This position will begin part-time managing one residential building in Sidney. Starting September 1, responsibilities will expand to include a second property in the area, transitioning the role to full-time.

**What You’ll Do**:
As the Building Manager, you will be essential in maintaining high standards across both properties, providing tenants with an outstanding living experience. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth day-to-day operations while fostering positive relationships with tenants, contractors, and property owners.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee building upkeep, property showings, move-ins/outs, inspections, tenant relations, and administrative duties
- Enforce and ensure compliance with the BC Residential Tenancy Act
- Prepare vacant suites for new tenants with necessary repairs, upgrades, and cleaning
- Foster tenant satisfaction through prompt complaint resolution, clear communication, and maintaining clean, safe properties
- Ensure the appearance and physical condition of the buildings meet organizational standards consistently
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of both properties, including suite availability, layouts, amenities, and neighborhood features
- Coordinate vendor and contractor services as needed
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in building management, property maintenance, leasing, hospitality, senior housing, or related fields preferred
- Sales and leasing experience is an asset; ability to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and presentable appearance at all times
- Excellent customer service skills, with strong communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Solid knowledge of general maintenance and repairs (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle at all times
- Completion of a satisfactory criminal record check
**Job Type**: Part-Time to Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday
**Salary**: $55,000 - 60,000 per year
