It is committed to providing its clients with quality expertise and support throughout the validation of manufactured products. It has a wide range of recognized services related to reliability testing and breakdown testing.

**Location**: Chambly, Quebec

**Reporting To**:Alexandre Beausoleil

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Engage in Quality activities, maintain Quality documents (internal procedures, audits, accreditation renewal, list of equipment, customer concerns and feedback, etc.), perform in-house calibrations and manage external calibrations.
- Engage in Safety activities (Safety representative)
- Write technical reports based on tests performed
- Support tasks executed by engineers and other technicians
- Perform test equipment preventive maintenance
- Maintain test log sheets and record data during tests
- Set up data acquisition system and data gathering
- Perform receiving and shipping activities
- Involve in continuous improvement of processes and methods
- Perform other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Excellent written and verbal bi-lingual communication skills
- Good computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required
- Excellent people skills and be a strong team player willing to adapt as necessary
- Ability to tolerate stress and work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to share skills and knowledge with others and to delegate responsibility
- Ability to complete tasks with mínimal supervision
- Strong Organizational and Analytical Skills
- Utilization of pressure, temperature & flow sensors, accelerometers and force sensors
- Positive “Can Do” Attitude while displaying the initiative and ability to problem solve
- Strong attention to detail
- Overtime may be required in order to meet customers’ deadlines

**Minimum Education and Experience**:

- DEC degree (minimum) or Bachelor degree in electrical / electronic engineering or any other equivalents background. Relevant experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
- Relevant experience with the ISO 17025 accreditation system is required
- Relevant experience with industrial safety is required
- Any experience in testing or in a laboratory environment will be considered an asset.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship and able to pass a drug test and background check

**Licenses and Certifications (if any)**:

- Any and all will be accepted.

**NTS Training Required**:
All Training on NTS policies and procedures and required laboratory instrumentation will be provided.

**Working Conditions**:
NTS Test lab environment with possible exposure to sudden, loud noises

**Physical Requirements**:
Standard Response is: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
