**Newport Landscaping, established in 2006, is a design/build firm with a landscape maintenance division, based out of Vineland, ON. Our organization's continued success and accelerated growth is due in large part to the investments we've made in our employees, in our equipment, and the long-term relationships we've developed with our clients.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Work alongside a crew of litter control workers to maintain designated properties
- Support and assist crew members with daily tasks to ensure efficiency
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality in all work performed
- Learn proper techniques, safety procedures, and best practices as needed
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and strong work ethic
- Communicate effectively with management to meet client expectations and resolve issues
- Travel to various sites to empty garbage receptacles and remove litter and debris
- Operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as required
**Skills**:
- Ability to motivate and build positive working relationships with team members
- Physically fit and capable of standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting 30lbs or more
- Excellent manual dexterity and stamina for physical work
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record (preferred due to using company vehicle)
**Schedule**:
- This is a **part-time, early-morning position** (3 shifts per week) with potential for additional shifts over time, hours vary, start time is flexible. Between 12AM-2AM, and end time is between 4AM-6AM weather dependent.
- Work is primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions
