Barback/busser

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the food and beverage industry and enjoy working in a lively atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock and organize bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
- Help manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and notifying management of low supplies.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure efficient service.
- Support the kitchen staff by assisting with food handling as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help others.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Must have Smart Serve

Shifts are 9pm to 3am every weekend start May 16th to September 1st (could go longer if you are not going back to school). Includes the Sunday of the long weekends as well.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
